The Douglas insert fits into the post of the chair base and attaches to the swivel tilt mechanism that is attached to the bottom of the seat. There are two sizes of Douglas plastic inserts which fit inside the post of the chair base. Please be sure and follow the measurements below. Fits in the post with inside dimension of 1 5/8". The outside dimension of the insert top is 1 3/4". 4 inserts included.
