Returns

RETURNS & WARRANTIES

If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise please notify Discount Dinettes within 72 hours and we will issue a pick up and return the merchandise to our facilities.  Please do not return any item to us or the furniture manufacturer without prior authorization.  All items must be returned in new and undamaged condition.  Discount Dinettes will charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned merchandise.  In addition, the customer will be charged and will need to pay all actual shipping costs which include both the original shipment and return shipment costs.  The customer will be responsible to repackage the merchandise in new condition using the original boxes.  Once your return is received and verified to be in new condition your original method of payment will be credited.  Otherwise, we will mail you a check to your billing address.

No returns or refunds are given on special orders. Special orders refer to any item that is ordered in your choice of color, size or shape.

Warranties

Each item in our store is covered by the full Manufacturer’s Warranty.  In addition, Discount Dinettes warranties all products sold on its website for 90 days. If you would like more information regarding the warranty of a particular product please contact Discount Dinettes.

Damaged merchandise

Discount Dinettes uses the safest and most reliable shipping methods available.  Although uncommon, damages can occur for various reasons that are out of our control.  If you receive damaged merchandise you must make all notations on the freight bill prior to accepting the merchandise and notify Discount Dinettes within 72 hours.  If the damages are severe please refuse the item that is damaged only and we will replace that item for you free of charge.   If your merchandise is damaged due to a manufacturer’s defect we will either replace the part that is defected or we will replace the entire unit if needed free of charge. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all merchandise at the time of delivery. When signing for received merchandise, please verify that you have received the correct amount of packages by checking the packing slip and receipt. Customers must also properly inspect their packages and note if there are any damages on all copies of the delivery receipt.  We will usually ask you to provide us with photos of damaged merchandise.

 Changes & Cancellations

Customers have 24 hours from the time of purchase to either make a change or cancel their order without penalty to receive a full refund.  Once an item is shipped it can’t be canceled.  If the merchandise is refused when delivered our standard return policy will apply.
